For the last two months I have spent countless hours at Magee Rehab, one of the nation’s leading facilities for rehabilitating care. Thanks to the many inspiring people there, I have learned quite a bit about life as well as myself.

Thank you to Skip, Daren, Kyle and James and their wonderful, caring families for letting me document such a dramatic time in their lives.

Yesterday I covered an event for the Bulletin at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The ceremony honored small and large business in Philadelphia who contributed to the art community.

I spent March and April documenting Morris Iron and Steel, a metal scrap processor, in North Philadelphia. Over 200 tons of aluminum, steel, stainless steel and copper are recycled daily.

Last night I shot an assignment for the Center City newspaper Philadelphia Bulletin. I covered the Viva La Diva gala presented by the Philadelphia Opera Company at the Four Seasons Hotel on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

Check out the Bulletin this Tuesday for a full-page spread of my photos.

Obama may have lost the PA Primary, but he’s still got my vote.

On Tuesday April 22, Pennsylvania was the nation’s most totally popular state as the media fixed their eyes on the circus known as the 2008 presidential election.

Politicians and supporters gathered at the Water Works restaurant and lounge behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art that evening to watch the disappointing results scroll across the television screen.

In attendance were PA Sen. Bob Casey, Congressmen Chakah Fattah and Patrick Murphhy and the legendary Obama Mama.

Above is a link to my latest project, “Life of a Colleague.”

Kelly McManus is a 20-year-old photojournalism student at Temple University. I recently spent some time with her to see what she is all about.

On Monday, March 10, Hillary Clinton stopped in Old Forge, PA (about 6 miles south of Scranton) before speaking at a rally in Scranton. Old Forge is famous for its pizza, and Mrs. Clinton chose to make an appearance at Revello’s Cafe thanks to Old Forge Mayor Michelle Avvisato and her Women for Hillary group.
